Whitstable Community Yoga Summer Retreat - The Mill Retreat Centre 9th - 12th August 2018

The mill has a 10-acre lake which has swans and is surrounded by poplar and willow trees and large overgrown grounds full of wild boar, deer, otters and over 40 species of bird. Perched on a green hilltop nearby is the perfectly preserved medieval village of Gerberoy which was named one of the prettiest villages in France. The Mill was originally  built in 1846 as a Camembert cheese factory it used the river ‘Bresle’ to power the cheese mixing process with an old hydro turbine located underneath the Mill.

The food is absolutely stunning, using mostly organic ingredients, and they will cater for most individual dietary requirements, from vegetarian, dairy free, wheat free, various food allergies.

All beds are made up with Egyptian cotton sheets, feather and down pillows (hyper-allergenic options) and lovely thick 100% wool blankets or thick warm duvets.
